A recent news is circulating online claiming that the state department of the U.S. announced a ‘no visa’ policy for the Filipinos in traveling to the United States. According to reports, Philippines is no longer part of the list of countries requiring its citizens to acquire a visa before traveling.

The report claimed that due to a survey with a overwhelming number of Filipino correspondents who gave a favorable outlook of the country with a whooping 85% who answered complimentary to the question “Do you have a favorable or unfavorable view of the US?” Filipinos have been rewarded through the said policy.

If there are any changes regarding VWP-participant countries, the information will be reflected on this website,” the statement read.
