Robin Padilla Denied US Visa, May Not Be Able To Spend The Holidays with Mariel and Their Daughter

Robin Padilla was denied entry into the United States, after the Philippine embassy refused to issue him a visa despite President Rodrigo Duterte granting him absolute pardon last month.

Absolute pardon entails a citizen be restored their political and civil rights which include the right to vote and to travel abroad.

On an Instagram post, Robin Padilla expressed his disappointment with the US embassy, saying that his “honest opinion is they don’t want to issue him a visa.”

In the post he made, one can see him video-calling his wife Mariel and their baby Isabella.

“Positive lang po tayo mga kapatid.. Let us enjoy the holidays,” Padilla told his fans.

On November, Mariel flew to the United States to receive extensive care for her pregnancy, given her history of miscarriages that have happened twice over the past year.
