9,000 Soldiers Deployed By Pres. Duterte In Patikul, Sulu Getting Ready to Finish Abu Sayaff. READ HERE!
“K*ll them, Destroy them” This was the direct order of President Rodrigo Duterte to annihilate the most notorious bandits in the country, the Abu Sayyaf. Presidential Spokesperson Ernesto Abella announced that the government is waging an all-out war against Abu Sayaff.
Recently, additional 5 battalions have been sent to Patikul, Sulu, equivalent to 2,500 soldiers to reinforce the army strength in the said area. All in all, 9,000 soldiers are deployed in Patikul. AFP spokesperson Brig. Gen. Restituto Padilla, this is the biggest concerntration of the group in an area. This is to show the determination of the administration to finish the terrorists. The President orders to do extensive planning on the said operation.
On the other hand, Alhabsi Misaya, Abu Sayaff’s Spokesperson, sent a message to the media that they are prepared for the AFP. He also revealed that over 1,000 Abu Sayyaf force is ready to perform a ‘jihad’ He also urged other Tausugs to join their ‘holy war’. They called it “the last war of Patikul to the finish.” He also warned the AFP that they will be the one raging the war and not the other way around.
